Dublin (Baile Átha Cliath /b'l'a:'k'l'iə/) capital and chief city of Ireland, a major centre for learning, business, theatre and - more recently - of software development and localisation. Since 1973, it has been a capital city of the EEC (now EU), and currently the only English-speaking capital city in the eurozone - a major advantage for investment and tourism.
